Experienced Fire and Security Systems Engineer

Due to expansion, we are looking to recruit an experienced Fire and Security Systems Engineer to join our team. We are an NSI Gold and BAFE accredited company. We have offices in King’s Lynn and Wroxham and the successful candidate would need to be located in reasonable proximity to either of these offices.

Responsibilities:

  • Installation and commissioning of commercial and domestic Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarms, CCTV and Access Control systems in accordance with regulatory standards and client requirements
  • Perform system maintenance checks and repairs where applicable
  • Identify opportunities for system upgrades/improvements
  • Assist with the training and mentoring of junior engineers/apprentices.

Experience:

  • Prior experience in the industry is essential for this role and experience in Kentec, Advanced, Texecom, Pyronix and HIK systems is beneficial.

  • £35,000 to £39,000 per annum dependent on experience.

Financial Controller

CTS Security have been established for over 50 years and we provide electronic security services to commercial and domestic clients throughout East Anglia (intruder alarms, CCTV, Access Control and Fire Alarms).  Due to company growth, we are recruiting a Financial Controller who will ensure the company’s finance function is organised and efficient and produces accurate financial and management accounts.

Duties include:

  • Management of the day to day finance function of the business
  • Maintenance of financial ledgers and accounting processes (for sales and purchasing)
  • Preparation of Monthly P&L and Balance Sheet
  • Cash management and treasury duties, including credit control
  • Ensuring that appropriate systems and internal controls are implemented and maintained
  • Preparation of VAT returns
  • Monthly payroll submission to the company’s accountants, including collating overtime and expenses claims
  • Assisting the company’s accountants with preparation of the year-end statutory accounts
  • Other administrative duties

Requirements of the role:

  • Fully qualified AAT (or equivalent) with previous financial control and management reporting experience
  • You should be confident, a self-starter, with the ability to operate in a dynamic environment
  • You must be able to demonstrate good attention to detail, good judgement showing logical decision making, and a hands on approach
  • You must be computer literate with good Sage and Excel skills and solid understanding of accounting software principles
  • You must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary:

  • £26,000 to £32,000 dependent on experience (full time, permanent role)
